LinkedIn & Connections
Why can't my network just connect their LinkedIn to see who they know at my target companies?
Great question, and we looked into it. LinkedIn revoked third-party access to connection data years ago. No app can legally access your network's connections without violating LinkedIn's terms of service, which can result in account bans for your helpers. We're not willing to put your friends' LinkedIn accounts at risk. But here's the thing: the manual model is actually better. An algorithm can tell your helper they're connected to someone at a company, but it can't tell them whether that person is a close friend who'd take their call, or someone they met once at a conference years ago. Your helper knows the difference. When they click “I know someone there,” that's a real signal from a real person who actually wants to help.
Billing & Refunds
What does it cost?
$29 a month, or $69.99 once for a 6-month pass. After a pass ends you can stay on a $9.99/month continuation plan. Need more AI credits? One-time top-ups are $9. No free tier, no trial, no hidden fees.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Our demo page shows a live example share page plus a full product tour of the tracker, network tools, and AI features. Creating an account is free; you only pay when you activate a plan.
Can I get a refund?
No. All sales are final and no refunds are issued under any circumstances. You are responsible for cancelling your subscription before your next billing date if you no longer wish to be charged. You can view a live example page and full product tour on our demo page before paying.
How do I cancel?
Log into your account, go to Settings → Billing, and click Cancel Subscription. Your access remains active until the end of your current billing period. We do not cancel on your behalf via email request. You must cancel through the app.
Will I be warned before I'm charged?
Stripe sends an automatic receipt to your email after every successful charge. It is your responsibility to manage your subscription.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your job list, share page, and resume remain in our system for 30 days after cancellation in case you resubscribe. After 30 days, everything is permanently deleted. You can also request immediate deletion from your account settings at any time.
Privacy & Data
Can my helpers see my salary targets, rejection notes, or application status?
Never. Your private data is yours alone. Helpers see only company names, logos, and the specific role you're targeting. Nothing else is ever exposed on your public share page. Not salaries, not notes, not rejection history. Ever.
Who can see my share page?
Anyone with the link. Your share page is not indexed by search engines and is not discoverable through ReferralRocket. It's only reachable via your unique link. Share it with whoever you want, and only them.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell, rent, or share your personal data or job search information with any third party, ever.
Is my resume secure?
Your resume is stored securely and is only shared with helpers who actively submit the “I know someone there” form. It is never publicly displayed on your share page.
How It Works
What does my network actually see?
A clean, logo-forward list of companies you're targeting. No salary info, no application status, no private notes. When they recognize a company and click in, they see the specific role you want. That's it.
What happens after a helper says they know someone?
They choose how they want to help: they work there, they'll intro you, or they'll reach out first. They then receive an email with your resume, the job link, and a pre-written referral message they can forward or customize. You get notified immediately with their name, email, and their relationship to you.
What if a helper knows a company I'm not targeting?
They can suggest it right from your share page. They tell you who they know there and how they'd like to help, and the company lands in your tracker flagged as “Suggested for you,” with their details attached.
Do my helpers need to create an account?
No. Helpers never need to sign up, log in, or download anything. Your link works in any browser on any device.
How many companies can I add?
Unlimited. Every paid plan includes unlimited companies, contacts, and share pages.
Can I import my existing job tracker?
Yes. We accept CSV, Excel (.xlsx), and Google Sheets exports. You can also add companies manually one at a time.
What are the AI tools and how do credits work?
Built-in AI tools analyze your fit for a job, tailor resumes and cover letters to job descriptions, draft outreach to recruiters and hiring managers, and prep you for interviews. Each tool costs a small number of AI credits based on how much work it does, and your balance is always visible in the app. Paid plans include 200 credits a month, and one-time $9 top-ups are available if you run low.
Technical
Do I need to download an app?
No. ReferralRocket is entirely web-based. It works in any browser on desktop or mobile. No app store, no downloads, ever.
What if I'm job searching at multiple points in my life, do I need to pay again?
Cancel when your search ends and resubscribe when you need it again, or grab a 6-month pass if you know your timeline. Your data is preserved for 30 days after cancellation so you can pick up where you left off if you resubscribe quickly.
